If I could give more than five stars, I would. Nicolas was by far the best dog sitter and house sitter we've ever had.
We hired him for in-home dog sitting / overnight pet care for our dog, Björn, and he was phenomenal-consistent routine, plenty of walks and enrichment, and genuinely attentive companionship. His communication was outstanding: thoughtful, detailed updates with great photos and videos, and he always used excellent judgment (especially around other dogs).
On the home side, he treated our place with real care and respect. We came home to a house that was immaculate-everything felt calm, organized, and well looked after,
which made our return home so easy.
If you're looking for a reliable, professional dog sitter and trustworthy house sitter, I can't recommend Nicolas enough.

We’d give Nicolas more than 5 stars if we could — but since we’re capped, 5 stars it is.
This was our first time using a housesitter and we were genuinely nervous — especially knowing it would be a two-week international trip. Nicolas put every one of those fears to rest. He was communicative, proactive, thoughtful, and considerate from start to finish — exactly the kind of sitter you hope for but aren’t sure actually exists.
Our animals are our children (we’re those annoying helicopter pet parents), and they were so wonderfully cared for. We received plenty of pictures and updates throughout the trip. When our puppy developed some separation anxiety early in the sit, Nicolas handled it with remarkable patience and worked with us collaboratively to find solutions.
On top of the exceptional pet care, he was incredibly respectful of our home. We returned to a house that was somehow cleaner than we left it — and we had cleaned before we left.
If you’re lucky enough to have Nicolas sit for you, count yourself lucky. We’d welcome him back into our home without hesitation!

Sirena
We could not have had a better more reliable sitter than Nicolas for our home and senior cat for a month stay! From our initial contact it was clear that he is an excellent communicator and we valued that he would be able to send us photos and videos of our pet and was able to make evaluations on her well being.
He was excellent at evaluating our cat's issue with facial swelling due to an infected tooth and getting vet care during his stay.
He left my home spotless and even cleaned my refrigerator which was so nice to come home to! My elder cat was so happy and calm having had Nicolas's expert attention for more than a month that we were away. I highly recommend Nicolas as a five star trustworthy sitter!

Kaia and Kiwi
Nicolas was an outstanding house and pet sitter. We couldn't have asked for more. He loved up our dog, took her for daily walks despite the terrible weather and threw the ball for her in the parks.
He shampooed her twice, once out of necessity and the other just because we were coming home. He managed to make friends with our moody parrot 🦜 and had her sitting on his shoulder, happily conversing. She was well entertained.
We came home to a sparkling clean house and very happy pets. We would welcome Nicolas back at any time.

Milo and Rusty
Nicolas was an excellent house and pet sitter. He communicated clearly, paid close attention to details, and carefully followed all of our instructions. Most importantly, he took wonderful care of our two pups.
He sent daily updates and photos of the boys, so we always knew they were getting plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. It gave us real peace of mind while we were away.
When we returned, the house was spotless. Nicolas had washed the sheets and towels, remade the bed, and left everything clean and tidy. He even provided a departure checklist documenting the pet care, house tasks, and cleaning he completed—very impressive.
We would happily have Nicolas sit for us again and recommend him without hesitation.

Rosie
Nicolas was as close to perfect as any sitter I’ve had. I’d rate him a 10 out of 5! He was meticulous in his care for my dog Rosie and my home. He lavished love and attention on Rosie and sent me pictures of the fun they had together.
He left my home cleaner than when he arrived - washed all dishes, dusted, washed sheets & towels and left the kitchen spotless. He sent me a weekly report of everything he and Rosie did together along with a full departure checklist.
